E Waste Recycling Day Harrietstown Town Hall

The Town of Harrietstown will host a free e-waste recycling event on Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Town Garage at 71 John Munn Road, Saranac Lake, New York 12983.
Residents are encouraged to drop off their unwanted consumer electronics so they can be safely and responsibly recycled.
A variety of electronics will be accepted free of charge: computers, laptops, monitors, printers, copiers, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, scanners, video game machines, power supplies, stereo equipment, telephones, cameras, tablets, circuit boards, iPods/PDAs, modems, fax machines, cords, wires, networking gear, and computer accessories.
There are a handful of items the town won’t be able to accept: batteries, light bulbs, lamps, kitchen or personal appliances, smoke detectors, freon-containing devices like air conditioners, and hazardous materials
