Contest Rules
North Country Radio, Inc. – OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
Unless otherwise specified, each contest is open to only to individuals who (i) are legal U.S. residents, (ii) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Unless otherwise specified, only one qualifier or winner per family or household per contest. The decision of North Country Radio is final. Contest winners that reside outside the listening area have the option of local pick up or shipment at their expense.
The Company may from time to time conduct contests concurrently and simultaneously on several affiliate radio stations owned by the Company, and the Company may add or remove participating stations or change call letters of any affiliate station at any time during a contest as announced on the affected station.
Participants may participate in station contests only if they have not won a contest in the past 30 days.
HOW TO ENTER:
Methods: Contest entries may be submitted as advertised or otherwise prescribed by Sponsor for the Contest. Generally, these will involve one or some of the following: (1) online entry (2) on-air entry (3) text to enter or (4) content submission or skill contest.
Warning: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Listen to the station for the times to play and how to enter or participate in a specific contest. The dates, times, entry methods, winner selection and prizes will vary with each station giveaway, as determined by the station and as announced.
Individuals may participate in any contest on behalf of another individual at the sole discretion of the North Country Radio management. All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law. Prizes cannot be exchanged for other prizes.
Employees of North Country Radio, Inc, its advertising agencies, participating advertisers and their businesses, their affiliates, other media (radio, television, cable, newspaper) and their families or households are ineligible to enter/win and contest(s) held in conjunction with the stations.
If a station contest involves filling out an entry blank at a participating business, then only one entry per person, per business location will be allowed. Multiple entries from one individual at any single location will result in disqualification of all entries from that individual.
All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of prize acceptance that North Country Radio has the right to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, character, likeness, voice or all matters incidental herein.
All contest statutes and provisions of New York State and the U.S. Federal Government including Federal Communications Commission restrictions apply to all contests. All contest entries become the property of North Country Radio, Inc.
Winners may be asked to sign affidavit/contest rules/W-9 tax form/waiver before receiving prize. It is the sole responsibility of any winner receiving cash or prizes during any calendar year to file appropriate tax forms with the IRS and pay any related taxes due on their winnings. Winners agree that they are responsible for any/all taxes incurred on prizes received from North Country Radio.
North Country Radio reserves the right to modify these rules as needed based on specific contests and promotions.
