Songs at Mirror Lake Celebrates 20 Years with Summer Concert Series and
Anniversary Festival in Lake Placid
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series is celebrating its 20th anniversary season in 2026, marking two decades of bringing live music and community together on the shores of Mirror Lake in downtown Lake Placid.
White Rainbow returns as the Whole Note (Title) Sponsor, with the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid once again serving as the Half Note (Presenting) Sponsor, helping make this milestone season possible. The White Rainbow Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid takes place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer at Mid’s Park on Main Street in Lake Placid, where for twenty years residents and visitors have gathered lakeside to enjoy live music in one of the Adirondacks’ most scenic outdoor venues.
The 2026 Summer Series lineup includes:
· June 30: Vanessa Collier
· July 7: Chad Hollister Band
· July 14: Shemekia Copeland
· July 21: Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams
· July 28: Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience
· August 4: Assembly of Dust
To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Songs at Mirror Lake will host a special full-day music festival on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Lake Placid Lacrosse Fields, featuring national touring acts, local artists, food vendors, and a full day of music and community celebration. Like the Tuesday night concert series, the anniversary festival will be free and open to the public, inviting residents and visitors alike to come together and enjoy the day. Festival performers will include:
· Devon Allman Project
· North Mississippi Allstars
· Adam Ezra Group
· Additional local artists to be announced
For twenty years, Songs at Mirror Lake has remained a community-driven nonprofit initiative, organized by a volunteer committee and supported entirely through sponsorships and donations. The series continues its mission of providing a platform for exceptional musicians while offering free and accessible live music for the entire community. The series is made possible, in part, with a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts.
White Rainbow provides luxury boutique stays throughout the Adirondacks including The Boha in Lake Placid, Wolfjaw in Wilmington, The Lodge in Point au Roche, The ADK Spruce Lodge in Wilmington, Gauthiers Saranac Lake Inn in Saranac Lake and the St. Moritz Hotel in Lake Placid offering refined mountain accommodations that blend Adirondack character with breathtaking natural surroundings.
Located in the heart of the Olympic Village, the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid offers spectacular views of Mirror Lake and the surrounding High Peaks, spacious accommodations, and Adirondack hospitality. Guests can relax at the hotel’s outdoor patio and firepit or enjoy drinks at Vintij, the hotel’s beer and wine bar.
Admission to the Tuesday night concert series remains free, so guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy the music at Mid’s Park. Thanks to the park’s band shell, concerts will be held rain or shine.
As part of this milestone year, additional 20th Anniversary sponsorship opportunities are available for the special festival celebration, providing businesses and organizations an opportunity to support the arts while gaining meaningful community visibility.
