Retired attorney and author Edward Pitts will be giving an illustrated lecture of his recently released Syracuse University Press book—Sketching the Adirondacks: Letters from the Wilderness. In his book Pitts book tells the story of two young artists, Jervis McEntee and Joseph Tubby, who trekked across the central Adirondacks in 1851. This program is free and open to the public.
